well, hello there...
Hello there to anyone out there still checking in on us!
We are here and happy. Just a weeee bit behind on keeping up the blog, but I best start now, or it's never going to happen!
Since the radio silence, we've been to Memphis as well as Door County, WI twice and have also had some lovely guests visit us in Chicago (with more on the way!). In addition, of course, to playing (the boys) and keeping up with all the playing (me, Craig).
Biggest news, which you all probably already know, is that Baby Turner No 3 is on HER way! That's right, we're having a little girl this time. We are all over the moon excited to have another sweet baby in our lives. Hank is absolutely smitten with her already... It is so sweet to hear him talk about Mawy Dale (her name will be Mary Gayle, but his sweet little toddler accent is too cute not to document). Bill is, of course, is oblivious to her pending arrival, as is expected. He'll understand soon enough! In the meantime, I continue to remind Hank that we cannot "open" her until Halloween :) I really hope she's not too late in coming, but if Halloween comes and goes without her debut, I fear we'll have one sad toddler on our hands!
I've just downloaded pics from my sorely neglected camera and will try and add some more from my phone later... Here you go!
Pictures from Door County, Wisconsin... Craig and I took the boys up there in late spring, just before Memorial Day (trip 1) and then just got back from a two week trip up there with my parents as well as the McDonalds (and Preston Lynch thrown in for good measure!!). Both trips were really fun. We love this place!

In other wonderful news, we had Bill baptized last weekend while we had family in town. His sweet cousins Hugh and Mary Carson are his Godparents. Though the pictures don't show it, Bill LOVES them :) It was a fabulous service, followed by a fun day of brunch at RJ Grunts and a visit Navy Pier. We had two tired boys on our hands that day!
After the Lynches and my parents headed home, Will had a conference, so the McDonalds stayed on for several more days of fun. I have some phone pictures I'll add and I'll get some from Dupree too, but really, the little cousins were a little too busy having fun to take too many pictures :)

phoning it in...
I know that I am woefully behind on posting. I am also guilty of abandoning my beloved camera for a month (!!!).
I will be posting more often soon, but thought I'd share a few phone pics with you while I was thinking of it...
I can't quite figure out how to move the pictures where I want them to be in the post, so you can make a little game of it and match the pics with their descriptions :)
Hank wakes up super sad some days missing daddy. Today was one of those days... So we got donuts as a treat!
