The Beach

Craig and I, like many of our fellow Americans, traveled to a beach for Memorial Day weekend... Luckily, all we had to do was walk! I can only be so smug b/c only about 4 days before (and incidentally, two days after) our trip to the beach, it was in the 30s/40s in Chicago. We've had this coming!

The walk from our place to the beach is about 8 minutes. It's a city beach, but since it's so early in the summer, it wasn't exceedingly crowded. Mostly families and couples out. We hope to make the most of this as long as we're in this apartment!
