2 firsts...

This past week has been quite eventful! Two big firsts happened this week, actually...

1) Nancy came to visit us to meet Hank for the first time. We had so much fun! We went on walks and did a lot of hanging out and catching up. I am looking forward to she and Greg moving to Chicago (ha ha ha, I wish)! I was so sad to drop her off at the train yesterday... Hopefully, we will make the trip to DC that we have been talking about for what seems like forever! Thank you Nancy for visiting us!!!!

2) Hank cut his first tooth! Totally crazy. He has been chewing on virtually everything for a while, but teething can take months so I didn't think anything of it. He was chewing on his burp cloth on Wednesday morning, so I gave him my finger to chew on instead, and what did I feel but a sharp little thing, a tooth! I was so shocked, but very excited. Pretty cool. It is early, but not unheard-of-early. My mom told me that I teethed very early, and according to my book, this is one thing that is genetic. Anyway, the full tooth has cut through - it's on the bottom right when you're looking at him. You can't see it in pictures yet, but I'm sure you will be able to shortly!

Other than that, we've been going on lots of walks, grilling on the deck and generally enjoying the sunshine... when it ever shows up! Lots of rain!! Here are some recent pictures of the little dude!

Oh, I signed up for a skype account, so if anyone wants to chat and see Hank, let me know!!
