Sittin on the dock of the bay...

While we are not quite on the bay yet, we will be soon! Hank and I leave for Memphis on Thursday, then we'll drive down to Destin. Craig will meet us (along with Dupree, Will, Trey, Robb(baby), my parents and Robb(the elder)) in FL the following week. We are SO SO excited!!

The reason for the title of this post, though, is that Hank is officially sitting up. Reaching-for-things, bouncing-up-and-down-when-he-gets-excited sitting up! I always have a pillow behind him for when he leans too far back, of course :) Since it's a new skill it is the ONLY thing he really likes doing. No more rolling over for now...

In other big news, we had our first non-family, non-friend babysitter. Her name is Kristen, and she was fantastic... Poor Hankie is starting to have a little bit of attachment anxiety, but I'm sure he'll get over it soon... Right? Here is a pic of Craig and Hank before Craig and I went out to dinner.

In preparation for our trip down south (and the flight I'm taking with Hank without Craig!!!), we got him a new lightweight stroller. He loves, loves it.

Here is the worst representation of playgroup ever... We totally spaced on taking pictures until a few people had already gone, and the remaining cuties were all doing tummy time... The adorable babes on the left are Alexandra and Gavin (twins! cannot imagine!) and on the right are Hank and his friend Sydney.

We've been having lots of fun and have been going out a lot taking advantage of the summer before it goes away. We are all looking forward to our vacation!!!
