Daddy Day!

Today, Hank and I drove downtown and parked in a big parking garage... We went down the big, windy, cold streets and into a great big building. Then we went up an elevator. All fun things. The thing that had Hank wiggling in his stroller, though, was waiting in the office of Daniels Trading... DADDY!!

Hank was so excited to see Craig - in the middle of the day! In the middle of the week! Craig was just as excited to see Hank and get to introduce him to even more of his coworkers.

We got to see lots and lots of computer screens and wires and talk to many people, some new faces and others we know. We also got to look out the window and out over the Chicago River. Pretty cool. The three of us then went across the street to have a nice lunch at Rivers. Craig and I had yummy lunches, and Hank had brought his own - pot roast and cheerios. Yum!

Hank did SUCH a great job at the white-tablecloth restaurant. He was definitely the only baby in the place... a very 'power lunch' kind of spot.

Then Craig walked us to the garage where we spent several minutes checking different floors to find the car - ooops, I forgot to pay attention when I got the in the elevator! Then we dropped Craig off, and headed back up north.

Now Hank is contemplating taking his nap... He's in his crib anyway :)
