"Snow" Day...

Luckily, there have only been a couple days that I haven't wanted to go outside with Hank... One was when the snow was coming down pretty well all day and it was windy on top of that. The other day was today. No snow fell from the sky, but the temperature did not break into double digits (that's NOT including windchill). I guess I could have bundled us up and headed to the library or a playdate, but I just couldn't see why we needed to go out when we had no appointments or anything that we needed to do. SO, we made today a craft day!

We stamped. And colored with markers (after that, he had NO interest in his poor crayons). We played with stickers and we made playdough. In addition to some train playing, obviously. And we might have fit in a cartoon or two - I'll be honest. The majority of our day, though, was the playdough - big hit! Here's the recipe I used, because I had all the ingredients: http://www.playdoughrecipe.com/microwave-playdough-recipe/.

Thankfully, he was very into the craft day, and we did activities before nap, AND after nap.

Golf with playdough golf balls.

And Thomas had to play with the playdough too, obviously.

All in all, a FUN DAY!
