I don't have any pictures to post from this weekend, but I thought I would post anyway... We had quite a relaxing few days which is just what we were looking for after so much travel! Friday night, I met Craig after work and we took the bus home together, then went to the grocery store. Ever the chef, Craig made some delicious pork chops and we watched National Treasure (cute adventure movie if you haven't seen it).
Saturday, we had some delicious Indian food with a friend, then visited a wine bar that we've seen but hadn't yet been to. Nice place, though - we'll be back for sure. They had a nice wine selection, but beyond that, they also had a fireplace :)
Sunday, though, no fireplace was needed - it was in the high 50s! I couldn't believe it! So mild - today is as well, though it's raining a bit. Not too shabby for our first Chicago winter. I guess I can take a week like last week (FREEZING!) if it's tempered by a week like this one. Yesterday we went to the Art Institute (thank you Caroline and Ian!) and then walked around all afternoon. All in all, a perfect weekend.
