Newsworthy Neckties

I've been slack about writing this week, and I'm sorry for that! There's been a flurry of activity here at the Turner household over the past few days... First, we have had to bundle up a ridiculous amount each time we go outside (this morning's windchill was -20). Second and most importantly, I got a job!!! Yay!

I accepted the position of National Sales Representative for Bird Dog Bay Neckwear this morning, and I start tomorrow. Cannot wait. I first learned about the company when I bought a tie for Craig for Valentine's Day. Since I thought the ties were adorable and since they were based in Chicago, I asked if they had any jobs available - this was last week! Turns out, they had been looking for a salesperson, and the timing couldn't have been better. I met with the owner and business manager yesterday, and the rest is history.
