Yesterday, the windchill brought the temperature to -25. I used to not think that windchill should "count" when considering how cold it is out... I have had to ammend that thinking. Windchill counts for a LOT. Craig was a dear and went out to the grocery store yesterday so I only went out for about a minute in total. What a fabulous hubby he is! I spent yesterday perfecting the strawberry cupcake. Perfect indoor activity. I've come close to replicating our favorite cupcake from Forest Hills. Very exciting. I had to send the majority to work with Craig this morning - I couldn't be trusted with them here!
Here are some pictures of the cold... When it's as cold out as it's been, the air above Lake Michigan is a fog - really cool. Can't really capture it so well from the 13th floor, but neither of us were about to go down to the shore!
Other than the weather, not too much going on. Craig is working all the time and loving it. I am now working and really like what I'm doing, so that's really wonderful... This weekend coming up I'm going to Memphis and I can't wait! I have a couple of work things set up, but it's really just a fun see-family weekend. I am sure to have pictures to share...
